Requirement for Contractor/Vendor Signature Authority – Eliminated for Most Contracts

Effective immediately, the Attorney General’s Office (AGO) has eliminated the requirement for signature authority documentation for all contracts except those involving transactions that must be recorded on the land records. This is a change long sought, and supported, by the University. The OGC continues to look for ways to improve the contracting process for the benefit of the University community.

We also want to remind you the new fiscal year is coming. If you haven’t already submitted amendments for contracts expiring June 30th, or contracts that will begin on July 1st, please do so immediately to avoid experiencing any delay in approval.
